Espagne : La Poste française entre dans la course pour Seur L’équipe de direction de Seur est parvenu à un accord avec Geopost, filiale logistique du groupe français La Poste, afin d’éviter l’entrée dans le capital de la société de messagerie espagnole de deux sociétés à capital à risque, l’européen Bridgepoint et l’américain JP Morgan Partners. Ces dernières avaient obtenu le mois dernier un accord avec le fondateur de Seur, Justo Yufera, pour racheter la franchise de Madrid et 21,2 % du capital de la société. Mais les gestionnaires actuels ont réussi à convaincre La Poste française de se relancer dans la course pour l’acquisition de leur entreprise. Demain, vendredi 14 mai, aura lieu une assemblée générale extraordinaire des actionnaires, au cours de laquelle les 63 franchisés devront décider s’ils exercent ou non leur droit de préemption. Eurogate establishes JV with MSC, and announces record results for 2003 Eurogate and Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) have founded MSC Gate Bremerhave, a 50:50 joint venture that will operate a terminal at Eurogate Container Terminal Bremerhaven (CT I South). (5/10/2004) MSC Gate Bremerhaven will handle MSC’s container ships using a 600-metre quay (two berths). The terminal is scheduled to begin operation on October 1st, with an initial volume target of 400,000 containers per year, planned to increase to 600,000. Eurogate will be investing about €34 million in new equipment and the refurnishing of this section. Eurogate will provide the infrastructure and premises and lease them to MSC Gate on a long-term agreement, and will also rig six container cranes of post-panmax capacity and sell them to MSC Gate. Greater Toronto Airport Authority's (GTAA) is out of control, says IATA and ATAC “Stakeholders deserve better than the Greater Toronto Airport Authority's (GTAA) appalling financial performance over the past year,” said Giovanni Bisignani, director general & CEO of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). “Airlines cannot continue to foot the bill for the airport's gross disregard of the industry-wide cost reduction.
