UPS has completed the purchase of UK parcel carrier, Lynx Express, after having received approval for the £55.5 million transaction from the European Commission. (10/5/2005) The transaction (with retroactive effect from January 1, 2005) is subject to the approval of the Norwegian Competition Authorities. Founded in 1976, Overseas Shipping has a proven track record and a solid position in the Norwegian logistics market.
