AIR FRANCE KLM confirme sa volonté de mettre en oeuvre une stratégie de croissance rentable pour Alitalia Lu sur : mercredi 19 mars 2008 Le Président Jean-Cyril SPINETTA a réaffirmé à la fin de la réunion avec les organisations syndicales d'Alitalia la volonté du groupe AIR FRANCE KLM d'apporter une réponse durable aux problèmes d'Alitalia. Il a affirmé sa volonté de mettre en oeuvre pour la compagnie italienne une stratégie de croissance rentable. Il a souligné que le groupe AIR FRANCE KLM garantirait la souscription à une augmentation de capital d'un milliard d'euros permettant à Alitalia de disposer d'une capacité d'investissement. Cette stratégie suppose d'abord une action rapide de redressement passant par un réduction de la flotte et une réorganisation du programme avec des sureffectifs estimés à 1 600 personnes pour lesquelles les amortisseurs sociaux prévus par la législation italienne seront mobilisés.
