(11/26/2007) Exel-Sinotrans was established as a joint venture by Sinotrans Air and DHL Exel Supply Chain (Hong Kong) in 2003, with each partner pumping US$1.46 million into the company. Xinhua reported five months ago that DHL wanted to acquire Sinotrans’ stake in the JV company. Industry analysts expect DHL to buy the stake. Communiqué de la commission Réseau transeuropéen de transport (RTE-T): la Commission centre ses propositions de financement sur des projets transfrontaliers et des modes de transport respectueux de l'environnementLa Commission européenne a présenté ses propositions pour le financement de projets RTE-T durant la période 2007-2013. Dans son choix, la Commission a donné la priorité aux projets transfrontaliers et aux modes de transport respectueux de l'environnement tels que les voies navigables et le rail. Suite à la publication de quatre appels de propositions, la Commission a reçu 221 dossiers. Le montant de ces demandes de soutien (plus de 11,5 milliards d’euros) dépassait de loin le budget communautaire disponible, soit 5,1 milliards d’euros. «Les décisions de financement proposées sont une réponse au défi majeur que représentent les politiques du transport et du RTE. La Russie attribuera 4,8% de son PIB au développement des infrastructures de transport dans le futur, a déclaré mardi à Krasnoïarsk le président russe Vladimir Poutine lors d'une réunion du bureau du Conseil d'État. "4,8% du PIB est un chiffre qui rendrait heureux le ministère des Transports", a-t-il indiqué, avant de souligner que la Russie ne dépensait pas plus 2,6-2,7% du PIB pour la défense nationale. Les ministres flamands ont trouvé un accord de principe sur la question. Il s’agirait d’une taxe kilométrique intelligente à l’instar de ce qui se fait en Allemagne.
