Communiqué de Stinnes _______________________ Cooperation between MAV AG and Stinnes permits operation of nonstop trains (Budapest/ Berlin, August 4, 2004)   The efforts made by the Hungarian national railroad corporation, MAV AG, and Stinnes AG to speed up and simplify rail freight traffic bound for southeastern Europe have begun to bear fruit. Only half a year after the establishment of a joint association in autumn 2003, all AUDI logistics trains operated by Schenker Automotive Railnet GmbH now travel between Györ and Ingolstadt without change of locomotives. In addition, the three trains per day that travel from and to Hungary via Austria do not have to wait at the borders because they have been qualified as "reliable trains" since the beginning of May. (NYSE:FDX) today announced an agreement to acquire Parcel Direct, a division of Quad/Graphics, for $120 million in cash. Parcel Direct is a leading parcel consolidator and will add a new dimension to the FedEx portfolio of services. The transaction is expected to close during the second fiscal quarter and is subject to customary conditions, including Hart-Scott-Rodino clearance.
