Effects on society In total, 9 scenarios have been analysed, ranging from a budget neutral variabilisation of the road taxes towards a fully differentiated internalisation of all external costs. The effects were compared with the trend situation in 2020 and 2030. The following effects are expected: The price of one kilometre driven with an average truck will raise from 1.18 euro (in 2020) to something between 1.18 and 1.50 euro, depending on the chosen scenario. UPS would have provided all airlift services for DHL Express U.S. domestic and international shipments from airport to airport within North America, giving DHL a single airline partner in the U.S., and UPS would have provided main hub package sorting services at UPS’ Lousiville, Kentucky-based hub. The deal was originally supposed to be completed by the end of 2008. One factor for the deal being shuttered centers around the decline in volume being handled by DHL now that it has left the domestic market. Reprise du marché du transport international ?? Tiré du LLoyd Vers une stabilisation sur le marché de l'expédition L’European Freight Forwarding Index de Danske Bank révèle que la confiance des expéditeurs européens se rétablit progressivement. Les volumes présentent encore une croissance légèrement négative ce mois, mais elle est beaucoup moins prononcée que les deux mois précédents. Les répondants s’attendent même à une augmentation des volumes à court terme. L'enquête auprès de 100 expéditeurs européens constitue une première note optimiste depuis de longs mois. Klaus Michael Kuehne, le président du groupe suisse Kuehne + Nagel, avait déjà déclaré la semaine dernière que les premiers signes d'une reprise sont visibles. Trois opérations de cabotage consécutives à un trajet international seront autorisées sur une période de sept jours, dans la limite d'une par Etat membre. Les chauffeurs d'autocars pourront travailler jusqu'à douze jours consécutifs, à condition qu'il ne s'agisse que d'un seul voyage. Les entreprises de transport routier devront respecter des conditions strictes pour obtenir le droit d'exercer leur profession.
