Communiqué de presse Volvo signe un accord définitif avec Eicher, le constructeur indien de véhicules Le groupe Volvo a signé un accord définitif avec le constructeur indien de véhicules Eicher Motors pour la création d’une nouvelle coentreprise indienne. Comme annoncé précédemment, cette société, dont le nom devrait être VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. englobe la totalité des divisions autobus et poids lourds d’Eicher Motor, ainsi que la force de vente indienne et le réseau indien de services pour autobus et poids lourds du groupe Volvo. Conformément à cet accord, Eicher Motors transfère la totalité de ses divisions autobus, poids lourds et composants, ainsi que ses services techniques et de conseil, à VE Commercial Vehicles. La production de motos d’Eicher Motors n’est pas incluse dans cet accord. Comme annoncé précédemment, Volvo obtient une participation de 45,6 % dans la coentreprise. Further to TDG's announcement today, Wincanton confirms that it approached the Board of TDG on 14 April with an indicative cash offer for TDG at a value of 281.25 pence per ordinary share (equivalent to 290 pence per ordinary share less the dividend of 8.75 pence per share proposed on 27 February and payable on 23 May 2008 which shareholders are entitled to retain).
